#1 Needed Shaman WotLK Spec – Restoration 0/16/55

When you first decide that raiding is going to be for you at level 80 as a Shaman the one most needed spec that will pop out is going to be restoration. Most if not all guilds need a good strong resto shaman in wotlk for both 10 man and 25 man raids. You can find the best raiding restoration specializations online, just know that you will want 16 points in enhancement for the 3/3 improved shields and 3/3 elemental weapons. Also remember that intellect is one of the more important stats to go for, yes spell power is nice, but adding intellect will not only raise your spell power if speced correctly but will also raise your spell critical chance and the size of your mana pool.

#2 Needed Shaman WotLK Spec – Elemental 57/14/0

This is just one spec that many elemental raiding shamans choose, but unlike the resto shaman spec this talent build can be tweaked and modified a little to your own liking. One of the major talents you will want to grab from the enhancement tree is the skill called shamanistic focus, this skill will lower the mana cost of all your shocks by 45%. Anything that lowers your mana cost of core abilities as a raider is a must to pick up for any class. You may also want to take ancestral knowledge for the 10% increase to intellect.

Here is your raiding dps rotation;

Flame Shock > Lightning Bolt > Chain Lightning > Lava Burst > Thunderstorm
Water Shield (Only when it wears off)

#3 Needed Shaman WotLK Spec – Enhancement 16/55/0

One of the more favored talent specs back in Burning Crusade has now seem to taken a little fall in the raiding charts because of the way buffs now work in raids and wind fury totem not being as important for melee classes like it used to be. Still enhance shamans are always welcome and if played right can bring a strong dps/buff makeup to any raid. Always remember when raiding as an enhance shaman to have the max amount of hit raiding percentage which at the moment is 17%. Maxing hit will raise your dps far faster and make you more consistent that any other stat. One thing you will quickly notice is that the talent spec of Enhancement is that which can not be modified much. Almost all talents will need to be speced into if a shaman wants to max out his dps potential.

“When Activision Blizzard CEO (ATVI) Bobby Kotick said yesterday his company needed to work on penetrating the Chinese market, he wasn’t kidding. The company’s World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King, a blockbuster hit in the West, has been banned from sale in China by Chinese government censors.
China-based JLM Pacific Epoch: The government has rejected two applications by the second expansion for The9’s (Nasdaq:NCTY) licensed MMORPG World of Warcraft, “Wrath of the Lich King,” since China’s Spring Festival (January 25 – February 1), reports Sohu quoting unnamed sources. The applications were rejected due to content that didn’t meet requirements, including a city raid and skeleton characters; the submitted version did not contain WLK’s Death Knight first hero class, said the insider.

WoW game developer Blizzard Entertainment recently deleted a link on the game’s North American site to the site’s simplified Chinese version, said the report.

Where to go from here? Activision is recruiting firms to mange its brand in China, and maybe help handle the Chinese government too.

Navigating the Chinese bureaucracy can be difficult, but we hope Activision figures it out. For all WoW’s success, it seems unlikely the Warcraft revenue machine will grow substantially unless the company can break into virgin markets.”

World of Warcraft takes you to a 3D environment in the World of Azeroth. The World is the largest virtual environment ever created. You can explor through deserts, forests, mountains and more.  It may take months before you can finish traveling through all of Azeroth. There are of course mounts such as horses, gryphons and other animals that can help you travel through Azeroth.

Along with the great 3D environment you can able to customize your characters looks in the highest of detail ever possibly invented. There are next to an infinite combination of faces, eyes, texture, size, weight, coloring to choose from. Unlike many other MMORPGs, you’re bound to find a twin here and there but the possibilities has gone unlimited with Blizzards character creation.

World of Warcraft consists of 2 fueding realms, the Alliance and the Horde. Each realm may choose from 4 different races. Alliance members may choose Human, Dwarf, Night Elf, and Gnomes while Horde members may choose Orc, Tauren, Troll and Undead. Along with the 8 races there are also 9 classes that you may choose from which are the Druid, Hunter, Mage, Paladin, Priest, Rogue, Shaman, Warlock and Warrior. Each player also has the ability to choose a profession for their character.  A profession is very helpful to the players as it may help them create great armors, weapons, items and other equipments. A player may choose 2 primary professions and as many secondary professions as they like.

Blizzard has been updating World of Warcraft much more than their previous games that required connection to Battle.net. Quests, items, fixes and other great enhances are being added or changed to improve gameplay. Unlike other MMORPGs, the quests of WoW are made to help leveling and is much pleasurable. It is not as repetitive as you are required to kill the same monsters and the constant travelling back and forth to speak to a dozen NPCs.

Like most and all MMORPGs, WoW has their own game economy and ingame shop/auction house. Their currency is based on copper, silver and gold. World of Warcraft gold is most commonly used to purchase weapons, armors, items, skills, spells and travelling. While selling back items to a NPC shop is easy, the returns are unfavorable. Majority of the players would sell off their unwanted items to other players at a highest rate than what the NPCs will offer.

PvP has been by far the most thrilling theme of most MMORPGs. World of Warcraft includes PvP servers and non PvP servers. As Blizzard continues to update the game, their most recent patch included the battle grounds. A zone where the Horde and Alliance comes together and competes. The winner will receive special rewards and methods of increasing their overall character status.

Blizzard has taken ideas from many different games and combined it all into 1. It has yet been by far the most successful MMORPG to this day and still growing rapidly. With a subscriber base of 4.5 million players world wide, I’m sure the game will continue to be popular for over a decade.

In World of Warcraft you have access to twelve main professions which are advisable to exploit to enhance your gaining experience. There is a fan convention for World of Warcraft. It’s also kind of the center of the universe for Horde players so you really do need to learn it if you hope to use the auction or make new friends.

There are dungeons available for all ranges of mid- to high-level players and offer many rich quests rewards and enemies to encounter in the depths below ground. Whether you are playing for the Horde or Alliance realm you will need money at some time or another during the game. For a MMORPG it looks pretty good similar to Warcraft III but obviously much more detailed since you are taking the perspective of a single character in the world of Warcraft rather than controlling an army from up above. On the second tier five points in World of Warcraft Toughness gives you ten percent more armor contribution and at the high armor ratings a warrior can achieve this talent can decrease all incoming damage by up to five percent.

There are three main resources that are managed in Warcraft: gold lumber and food. The first two are required to construct units and buildings while Food restricts the maximum number of units the player may control at one time. With the coming of the Undead Scourge and Burning Legion as well as the Humans and Orcs Tyrande Whisperwind and her Night Elf Sentinels fight a desperate battle to save their beloved home of Kalimdor from enemies old and new alike. Instead of magma they have scales. Northrend houses the Frozen Throne and the ruins of the Nerubian kingdom Azjol-Nerub. There is no concrete evidence or citations from official Blizzard staff confirming the aforementioned content but numerous implications on the game forums by various community managers support the notion.
